Project Description

Treasury LogoRePoint Technologies provides Architecture, Development and Help Desk support for multiple projects at the United States Department of the Treasury.

Entry On Duty System (EODS) – EODS is part of the HRConnect shared services suite of applications hosted by the United States Department of the Treasuy. HRConnects shared services are an internal product line within the Government that multiple other Government Agenices use in order to increase efficiency within the Government for core technologies so every Agency does not have to build the same thing. EODS  is an online system that services newly hired federal employees before they begin their employment at a federal site. EODS provides an automated on-boarding process that focuses on pre-employment on-boarding benefits forms completion and data collection and delivery of new hire information to prospective federal employee. The system pulls position data from HR Connect . The public-facing Internet portion allows EODS applicants to access their information via a secure connection across the internet. The intranet portion allows HR Specialists to administer and track applicants’ benefits package completion and the interconnection between EODS and HR Connect. This system greatly reduces the manual effort for new hires by providing the package of standard forms that a new hire typically completes by hand in electronic form via the internet, with some prefilled information provided by the applicant from Monster CareerConnector. In addition, the system greatly reduces the data entry on the HR professional’s part by automatically feeding the new hire information to the backend HR processing systems.

Enterprise Content Management (ECM) – Enterprise Content Management (ECM) is collectively a strategy, an architectural framework, and a set of tools and technologies designed to help customers improve content management, document management, and intranet portals. ECM provides Treasury-wide solutions to meet collaboration and other customer requirements and is designated as the preferred Treasury content/collaboration platform. ECM is based on Microsoft SharePoint and offers both Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions. Many services offered within ECM are scalable and anticipated to be available to Federal entities across the public sector through the Treasury Shared Service Division.
